Meet Jackie
South Shore Naturals:
Owned by a lifelong resident of East Haven, CT, mother of three and grandmother of one, Jacklyn Trickett-Sargent.
Jackie Started as a business in 2016 after creating all natural products for her family starting in 2011. She is dedicated to living, promoting and educating others how to live a chemical-free lifestyle, and hopes to pass this lifestyle down to her children, grandchildren and generations to follow.
South Shore Naturals is a proud member of the East Haven Chamber of Commerce and licensed by the State of Connecticut to manufacture cosmetics.
Mrs. Sargent is also an advocate and mentor for those who wish to learn about growing and preserving their own food as well as using herbs as medicine.
Jackie and her husband John try to live off of the natural resources provided by nature as much as possible. Having the advantage of today's technology as well as keeping traditions and ways of the past alive is a great asset. Teaching their children where their food comes from, how to grow their own, foraging, hunting and fishing as well as ways to preserve them without refrigeration and making and using their own products the way our ancestors did is vital.

They are also keeping alive the Italian traditions of their families and old ways of the Italian heritage. This includes herbal medicine, food and beverage fermenting, canning, annual making of pickled eggplant, stuffed cherry peppers, Nucino (black walnut liquor), Limincello, wine, etc.
They make almost everything from scratch and try to teach others as well.
